Son of Swindon Town and Premier League legend Jan Aage Fjørtoft, Markus had been playing in Scotland for a few years before I decided to add this badboy to the collection. Jan Aage also had a memorable spell at Middlesbrough, scoring 10 league goals in a team that boasted Juninho. His time there ended after he was phased out by the White Feather, Fabrizio Ravanelli.
Airdrieonians
2020/21 away shirt as worn by former PSG and Newcastle favourite’s son Thomas in his single season at Airdrie. Affectionately know as “Tam Rab” by the locals, Robert played 26 times in all competitions for Airdrie, scoring 4 goals in the process.
Linlithgow Rose
2020/21 home shirt as worn by all time Linlithgow Rose top scorer Tommy Coyne, son of Motherwell legend Tommy who scored 59 league goals in 132 games in 5 seasons at Fir Park after signing from Tranmere Rovers for £125k in November 1993. Old man Coyne also played for Ireland at the 94 World Cup - the first Motherwell player to appear on such a stage.

2019/20 Stabæk shirt as worn by Emil Bohinen, son of former Norway international Lars who spent eight years in England with Forest and Blackburn Rovers. Bohinen senior is perhaps best remembered for scoring as Norway beat England in 1993 and for scoring in Blackburn’s 7-0 v Forest in the 95/96 season.

Not quite a son of a famous footballer but Sherwin Seedorf carries a the same name as his distant relative, the marginally better former Ajax, Milan, Real Madrid and Netherlands midfielder Clarence. He wore this Motherwell 19/20 home shirt when I saw him score on his debut in a 3-0 win against QoS.

France '98 winner Youri Djorkaeff had a glittering career, this shirt being from his lesser known spell at Blackburn Rovers where he only managed 3 games.
